Police authorities found a victim identified as J. dead this Thursday (12), on a rural property about 3 km from the city of Apiacás-MT. The victim had been missing for a few days and had been receiving threats from a criminal faction.

According to information, the Civil Judicial Police of Apiacás called the GUPM to assist in locating a possible execution victim. The team immediately went to the indicated location, a rural property about 3 km from the city, where they found J. body.

The victim had a gunshot wound to the neck and, in addition, signs of torture, such as a broken arm and several injuries on the body.

Military police officers from the Tactical Force identified, Deividi Augusto dos Santos as one of the suspects in the murder of Joele P. dos S, 34, in Apiacás (1,097 km from Cuiabá).

He died in a confrontation with the teams and had criminal records for drug trafficking, illegal possession of a firearm, threats and robbery.

Police received information that he was on a black motorcycle, near Rua Jonas Pinheiro. After being located, he resisted attempts to approach him, pulled out a gun and fired at the teams, who retaliated.

Deividi was shot and taken to the Municipal Hospital by the Tactical Force, but he did not survive his injuries and died at the scene.

A .38 caliber revolver and three live rounds and three spent rounds were seized from him.
