Brains On the Floor After Militiaman Was Murdered in Motel
On Wednesday morning (27), a militia member, aged around 35, was found dead in the parking lot of a motel in Campo Grande, West Zone of Rio de Janeiro, victim of gunshots. The man was known by the code name 'Altas Horas', and he was known for illicit activities in the area, including extortion, control of illegal services, and intimidation of residents.

Reportedly, another member of the same militia as 'Altas Horas' was kidnapped from the motel parking lot, killed in a forest, and then dismembered.

The word milicia ≠ "militia" in English. It means "hired gun" or "mercenary" unless it refers to a member of the formal armed forces of a country. True in both Portuguese and Spanish.
