In Pekanbaru, Riau, Indonesia, a young women was crushed underneath a Transmetro bus. She and another motorcyclist were caught between the bus and other vehicles. The other cyclist, a male, decided to sacrifice the girl's life to save his own and pushed her into the bus, killing her.

The man is in police custody now pending murder charges.

This occurred on 11/19/2013 at about 9 am.
