In the photo she's still alive, she died hours later at the hospital.
She had an argument with her daughter Leirian (both were crack users and the daughter was also drunk); as she slapped her daughter in the face, Leirian ran to their house, followed by her mother: as the mother entered the house, the daughter threw alcohol at her, everything (including the woman) caught fire and the daughter fled the scene BLOCKING THE DOOR behind her.
When the son returned home, she was still burning, with the help of some neighbors he threw water to the poor woman and as the fire was extinguished, he realized that she was still breathing, but as said she died hours later.

Some worker at the hospital took another photo and leaked it; this sparked outrage and the management of the hospital decided to take some disciplinary action towards the worker, install surveillance cameras everywhere and to ban the use of cellphones while on duty, as consequence.
