I guess they didn't think they'd be crushed. The story goes that the truck driver, rather than be robbed himself, chose to mince that row of people.
Honestly, that is one blood soaked country, 000s killed tapping pipelines, 1000s killed when some soldiers decided to cook their dinner in their ammo dump, 200 killed when robbers tried to blow up a safe and ended up blowing up a city block. Somebody must have pics of these

Its because its a third world country. They usually are overpopulated and have the most fucked up accidents because even with regulation and laws, they are hardly ever adhered to or abided by by the citizens.

Well, I would say the truck driver is gravely regretting his decision now, as not only did he run over so many ppl, he probably ended up being robbed himself.. If you look closely at the picture, the truck that ran over them is crashed in the bushes behind..
