Re: Boiled in the Bath

to get boiling water you adjust the knobs on your water heater, more gas can lead to the CO and the high settings on the dial altered can make scalding and boiling water VERY fast, you only want to alter the setting by BARELY and i mean BARELY adjusting the settings, its very simple, mine went out and i had to reset and i made it hotter, but now i have to be careful and its only half way to what it can go, so a full open gas line and a full high water temp setting will cause this
I understand all that. What I don't get is where did the constant nine-hour supply of the boiling water come from. He had his hot tap open and the drain open at the same time, or something I guess?

However it happened, the smell must have been something.

I'd say the bath has an overflow like most ( likely all ) baths in the UK have, Water would fill to the top of the bath where the overflow bit would be and water could continue rushing into the bath while the overflow does it's job and stops the water from spilling out onto the floor, Still a bad way to go even if the poor fella didn't feel it.

Re: Boiled in the Bath

If you were boiled for nine hours you couldnt still be in one piece. When I boil a chicken for soup all the meat falls off the bones.Just saying...this doesnt look right to me.
