Re: Body Works

Im pretty sure they were thinking they were donating to cancer research, AIDS research, etc. how in the hell is this guy considered "science"?
I may be wrong but after visiting a body worlds exhibit a couple years ago, i recall reading somewhere that the deceased specifically donate (when they were still alive of course) their corpses to his project. However time and memory don't always mesh up well for me and I could be completely wrong and am too lazy even by internet standards to google it.

Re: Body Works

Prof' Gunther is a brilliant, pragmatic and essential scientist. I don't understand the squeamish responses, he didn't kill them, morally he's head and shoulders above the sadists responsible for most of the other images in the forum.

Re: Body Works

He has some good work out there accepted by society.

I don't think Sadist is a correct term for people who view gore. Sadist and sadistic inflict pain on others for there own gain. Frankly to see the aftermath of a Sadist is a hell of alot worse than you see on these pages.

Re: Body Works

At the end of the body worlds exhibit they had a book you could write in and I suggested he do one where a man is on a motorcycle in riding gear with helmet on and one side is normal the other dissected along with the motorcycle and call it manchine!
