Don't remember exactly....but I think it was some kind of ritual that they do with the dead in a remote area of China.

That is a Sky Burial, a common funerary practice in Tibet wherein a human corpse is cut into small pieces and placed on a mountaintop, exposing it to the elements or the mahabhuta and animals – especially to birds of prey. In Tibetan the practice is known as jhator, which literally means, "giving alms to the birds." You can find many pics searching "Sky burial" in google.  · |
