The material emerged from Brazil in the last week of September 2017, during a major security operation in Rio de Janeiro's favelas. Around September 17, rival drug factions began a turf war in Rocinha. On September 22, the federal government deployed roughly 950 soldiers there, while shootings were also reported that week in other favelas, including Santa Marta and Juramento.

I know the guy in the last photo is dead, but why does his arm look like it's holding on?

He must have died in a different position, went stiff, and was then moved onto the gurney still in that previous position. I'd like to know what sort of bullets were used here. They remind me of the exploding bullets in the first Ghost in the Shell movie.
