Bodies at Magic Spring Oasis
Also known as Dakhla Oasis by the locals. "Magic Spring is a tourist invented name. Excerpt from travel blog: "The first spring we stopped at was the Magic Spring. Near it, there were two decaying bodies from the Roman era. Our guide didn't have any history on them. I am guessing they ran out of supplies and chose to at least stay near water" So if anyone wants to travel there and photograph some bodies in person you can make arrangements with a travel agency. |

What!, WHAT! Bodies not fresh enough for you? Did you click to see the photo enlarged? Doesn't it excite you that for the price of a tour package you can go there and see for yourself and then take a nice swim in a bubbling hot spring? Effing whiner. They are dead BTW. Been dead for 2000 years. It's amazing they been there all this time and no one even bothers them.

Re: Bodies at Magic Spring Oasis
Ya, The "Roman Era" seemed a bit over the top. 2000 years is a long time for any carcass. So I don't know about that one. It would be cool to go there and check it out. If anyone has cash for that let me know what you see and DOOO take some freaking photos for crying out loud. And do post here and give a shout out to me for the tip. Personally I would LOVE to go there and have a swim after checking out the cool carcasses. It would be the most super awesome vacation.
