Possibly victims after the Haiti quake? If that was the case mass internment would be understandable and reasonable. They did the same thing in the countries affected by the Boxing Day tsunami. However, it looks like they've dug a pretty big trench and it doesn't look even half full yet. Still room at the inn. :)
