A man killed his brother and injured his mother in an incident that took place Tuesday morning inside the family house, in Barahona Province, Dominican Republic.

The deceased was L.D.L., who fell mortally wounded in the living room of the house, bathed in a pool of blood. The mother was taken to hospital. The killer was not identified, but it emerged after the fact that he was injured in the brawl.

Supposedly, L. had attacked his brother after a heated discussion with a bat, and his brother responded and attacked him with a knife. The corpse was left in the middle of a pool of blood in the living room of the house. The aluminum bat was left near the lifeless body.
