For all you knuckle heads out there, this happened in China. The "Tiananmen Square", or "Beijing", masacre, were a series of protests and demonstrations in China in the spring of 1989, that culminated on the night of June 3–4, with a government crackdown on pro-democracy demonstrators . Although the demonstrations and their subsequent repression, occurred in cities throughout the country, the events in Beijing—and especially in Tiananmen Square, came to symbolize the event.

The pictures show demonstrators, who were killed by the Peoples Liberation Army, which is as big of an oxymoron, as I've ever heard. Some were shot or beaten to death. The rest were run over by tanks or APCs.

It wasnt all one sided. The people managed to disable the armor, by fire and dragged the crews out. The soldiers were beaten, set on fire and hung.
