I can't decide which it reminds me of more. A fountain cone fireworks thingie, or one of those water splashing toys you hooked up to the hose and ran through in the yard.

Yeah, It takes 6 minutes for the brain to die, so he can probably be aware of what is happening around him

That's a great example of a quick way to execute someone - within 30 seconds the lack of oxygen to the brain begins the dying of brain cells, though there may remain a certain amount of consciousness for up to a minute or so.
