He hit that metal wheel well hard enough to snap it off, that's what's laying on top of him. So strange though. Guess the bike just crumpled form underneath him?  |

looks like he hit the truck sort of slideways and impact was strong enough to break and detached the wheel mudguard or whatever that is called.
