Unfortunately that's what some bikers think: I'm wearin' my helmet, now I'm immortal, let's tear it up like in the movies. In contrast, the biker folks with whom I've ridden are very safety conscious (including myself!), and speak with derision regarding those who think an effing helmet is magic.
