I traveled throughout Mexico 30 years ago, and I never felt threatened or uneasy. I sure as hell wouldn't do it again today. I feel sorry for the average citizens down there who have imposed curfews on themselves just to avoid being caught in the crossfire.

Nice to have a third world country right next door to us. The problem is the corrupt Mexican government. The country has tourism, a wealth of natural resources and it's drug war zone. Even more reason why we pull troops from overseas and station them all along the border. We have more terrorists, drugs, and criminals entering the country in our own backyard then from overseas. |
