On november 20th, 2011
On saturday night around ten o'clock pm, two teenage friends, at age of 16 and 13, were found beheaded in Salvador, capital city of Bahia state in Brazil.

These two teenagers were named Janaina Brito Conceição, 16 years old, and Gabriela Alves Nunes, 13 years old.
Gabriela lived with her grandparents.
Janaina lived with her godfather instead of her father, because she had relationship problems with him, the firefighter Zardival Conceição.
according to investigations the girls were missing a few days, after they have gone to meet some guys, whose guys they had known in the internet, leaving a written note " we'll be alright ".
However something went wrong, the girls didn't back home that day.
even not on next day.

Ever since, girl's relatives started to received some phone calls asking for money.
The guy, on the other side of the line said the girls were kidnapped, and to release them was necessary some money in exchange. But the sum asked was big, the families couldn't pay it, even trying to negociate for a smaller sum.
They phone calls had stopped ever since, they could not get a answer coming from them anymore.

On the next day the beheaded girls were found dumped on the street.
The guys who had did that, were in a green car, after throw the girls out the car, they had shot up, to call attention for theirs acts.


A man who was involved with the crime was recognized at the Preguiça beach, almost being lynched by the bathers.
After his imprisonment, he had confessed the participation of other six men at least.
He had confessed the reason of committing the murder.
He said the girls were passing informations about them to another criminal rival group.

The others imprisonments have been done.

by the way , this guy was not jailed, he was murdered after a confrontation with the police.
