Re: Bartender Offs Herself In Back Room
Looks like she may have embezzled a good amount of booze beforehand

Re: Bartender Offs Herself In Back Room
OK I'm confused, there is like a whole stack of chairs behind her that she could have used to hang herself proper to minimise suffering and there she is crouched on the floor dead, obviously struggled and tried to get cord off her neck... |

Re: Bartender Offs Herself In Back Room
Hard to explain their actions sometimes. Like I said, the police assume suicide but they aren't confirming until a full coroner postmortem. They usually confirm immediately in Mexico and the fact that they didn't could be inferred as a reasonable suspicion of foul play. I can't personally imagine that someone strangled her with that setup and didn't cause some sort of struggle. Plus her purse (unmolested) is still sitting behind her on the stack of chairs. So I still think suicide is the most plausible explanation just from a distant, armchair analysis. But your point is valid. Why not find a better way to do it? I know that one typically passes out in less than 30 seconds with proper compression, but it seriously looks like agony prior to unconsciousness there. And the fingers of BOTH hands caught up in the noose that way? That's not just decorticate posturing there-that's pulling at the damned cord. |

Re: Bartender Offs Herself In Back Room
Think she couldn't reach for that cable when standing as it looks like it's pretty high so maybe she stood on that table, wrapped the cable around her neck, with her fingers still inside and jumped landing on her knees, who knows.

Re: Bartender Offs Herself In Back Room
maybe, but i doubt it http://www.documentingreality.com/fo.../index100.html if this syrian girl had passed out at the 1.40 mark with her hands up, everyone would have assumed she had changed her mind too but as we can see, she had no such thoughts. she re-adjusted the noose and went through with it |

Re: Bartender Offs Herself In Back Room
I think at some point your panicking and having involuntary spasms, probably makes it hard to stand up or continue standing.
