Bangladesh - Young Lady Found Dead in a Paddy Field
On the morning of 27th December 2019 in Shamnagar (Bangladesh), 22 year old M.K. was found dead in a paddy field. 'M's father stated that she went missing 2 nights previous. It's thought that she was raped, then strangled to death by her boyfriend.

It was speculated that she'd been raped, I only found a handful of news articles on this + the translations didn't help much! Still, she could have been raped then allowed to pull her pants back up + killed later.

All because she wanted to marry him ffs  Police have arrested her boyfriend Subrata Mondal in connection with the rape of Shamnagar College student, M. K. Earlier on Saturday night, Subrata was arrested from Nizibari village of Kacharahati village of Bhurulia union. The arrested Subrata Mondal, 25, is the son of Pirmal Mondal of the village. Meanwhile, the deceased was identified as M. K, 25, daughter of Abdul Quader of Ballabpur village of Bhurulia union and a student of Shamnagar Mohsin Degree College. He said that M.K left home after three days of Asha prayers without telling anyone. She was missing from there. In the incident, his father made a simple diary at Shyamnagar police station. He later recovered her body on Friday morning, according to reports from locals. He also said that Subrata had a love affair with M.K. for the past two years. Physical relationships, including meeting with them occasionally, are also awkward. For the past two months, M.K. has been pushing him to get married. If he does not get married, she would go to Subrata's house. Subrata planned to kill M.K due to panic. In the meantime, on the evening of January 5, Subrata called her on her mobile phone and took her into a field. He then throws her down and forcibly rapes her and strangles her. The victim's brother Mohammad Ali filed a case with the Shamnagar police station. |
