On July 6, 2013, between about 2:27 and 2:37 in the afternoon, a driver encountered a fatal truck collision on the road linking Jimbaran and Nusa Dua in Bali, Indonesia. A young girl had been hit and killed by a truck and sustained a severe head injury. Her body lay beside the road, partly covered with newspaper sheets. The victim was never identified in the available account. An inquiry at the time about local newspaper coverage received no response, and no press reports of the accident have been found. The widely reported December 2025 Jimbaran crane-truck crash that killed a pregnant woman was a different incident, occurring on the same road twelve years later.

Great post and lucky timing for you! Unlucky for her, of course, but we get very few 'original' accident images here. Let alone fatality ones. Thanks for posting! Did local papers cover the accident?
