The mother was hit by planks falling off a lorry in Sao Paolo. The planks split the lady's abdomen open, which helped the paramedics to save the baby that was born healthy.    |

Are you freaking kidding me?!?! Such a amazing story but incredibly sad as well. That mommy did her job well and safely protected her little one right up to the end. She will keep protecting her little one as a angel.

On 27th July 2018 in Pariquera-Açu, a traffic accident claimed the life of a pregnant woman. She was thrown out of the truck that she was travelling in, her abdomen was ruptured, which forced the baby out. According to the doctor that attended the scene, the baby girl was 'woven into the remains'. The doctor removed the baby from the woman + checked her over. She was sent to the hospital + is doing well. The baby girl weighs 6lb 9oz + 46cm. The woman was without ID, so the baby will be taken to a shelter until family members, hopefully, come forward.         *UPDATE* The woman's name's Ingrid Irene Ribeiro.   UPDATE #2 Ingrid was buried this morning (31st July) in São José dos Pinhais. The baby has left the hospital + is with her maternal grandmother. The baby will be named Jenifer Eduarda. The truck driver is charged in flagrante delicto with manslaughter. The man said that he had met Ingrid at a petrol station + had offered her a ride. |

Such a sad and surreal thing. The mother is dead in a gruesome way but her baby lives on.

It is called a coffin birth, but, I don´t know of a baby surviving until now. She, (I think), is smiling at the people who saved her.  |
