I know exactly where and what era that happened, my grandma used to tell me stories of how during world war 2, japanese soldiers invaded the philippines, ramsacked the towns and villages, and they would kill anyone including babies. She told me that they would throw the babies up in the air, and catch them with their bayonets.. My great uncle is now recognized as a phillipine war hero who stood up against the japanese and drove them out of the town - Vinzons - Camarines Norte - Philippines.
Now he is commemorated nationally.
