Australian Woman, 63, Found Dead at the Casa Angkor Hotel, Siem Reap, 2016
At about 4 a.m. on June 11, 2016, a 63 year old Australian woman was discovered dead in her room at the Casa Angkor Hotel in Siem Reap, Cambodia. A Cambodian outlet's translation of the police report identified her as Susan Clara Spry and stated that she had crossed into Cambodia by land from Vietnam. The report said she had diabetes and high blood pressure and linked the death to a ruptured blood vessel, although translations differ on the precise cause; no crime was alleged. Her body was transferred to Royal Angkor International Hospital in Siem Reap pending release to her family.  ·  ·  · |
