I imagine that every time someone tries to dismember and dispose of a body, they pretty quickly figure out that they've undertaken a much bigger job than they'd originally imagined. Bodies are big, messy, unwieldy, and develop quite a stink after a while. They're also full of really nasty fluids that stain everything and are easily detectable later. Getting 'rid' of one is no simple task.
