Bangkok, September 13, 2014. Police was notified that a foreign man had fallen to his death from a building.
The incident occurred at the splashboard behind Na Na Hotel, Bangkok, so they rushed to inspect the scene.

At the incident the officers found a corpse of American nationality, aged 51. The officers then went up to the 4th floor to investigate his room.

Initially, the officers assumed that the deceased had accidentally fallen from the 5th floor therefore the officers gathered all the details and evidence that were found at the scene to inspect further.

Upon investigating, the hotel clerk told that before the incident occurred he saw the victim bleeding and running through the lobby and looked like he had been assaulted.

He then ran to the back door of the hotel and hid beside a fire escape so the hotel clerk ran over to ask him what was wrong but he was frightened and ran away to the 5th floor throwing an iron bar, which he was carrying, at the hotel clerk.

The clerk informed the hotel manager when they suddenly heard a loud noise as if something big had hit the floor so they went to investigate and found the man dead on the floor.

Initially, the officers will inspect the CCTVs in the area of the incident to see if the deceased had been assaulted by anyone.
