Aortic Gortex Graft

Notice the ridges of the Gortex implant.

Gortex Implant- In vascular surgery, superior graft performance is essential. A vascular graft must be inert and biocompatible, as well as strong, conformable and easy-to-handle.

GORE-TEX® Vascular Grafts have met the challenges of the most demanding vascular procedures for over 30 years. Recognized for exceptional performance and quality, they have earned the endorsement of renowned surgeons worldwide. These grafts require no preclotting, resist dilatation and the spread of infection, and assure utmost thrombectomy safety. The Gore vascular graft line also includes the GORE-TEX® Stretch Vascular Graft, with published improved patency for dialysis access (10 papers, 650 patients and one abstract). Gore vascular grafts are also available in a wide range of Stretch and non-stretch configurations, including straight, tapered, bifurcated, and many with external customizable ring reinforcement.

LOL! I remember reading an article in a magazine about this VAIN woman who claimed had thin lips and insisted on having them full by having various filling-procedures with collagen, fat, Restalyne; but all of those fillers are temporary (and so is most "beauty") so she wanted the real thing: lip implants-"Let's like go faker-er, guys!" So she opted for the Gortex brand and had her plastic-fix.

Some time later "You're so Vain" here goes to a dentist appointment and Doc. here ends up infecting her lip by accidentally poking in her not-yet-healed incision from the Gortex procedure, thus having the implants removed. Lesson learned

But Gortex can make other useful implants/grafts such as this Aortic graft

Do you know what can ease the pain of Sciatica? as my Dr is a useless twat and just dishes out Dihidracodeine like smarties.
He didn't bother to tell me they are addictive.

hombre, i suffer sciatica, and apart from strong pain killer's it is hard to cure, although a hot bath does ease it, a chiropracter also works, but sadly for us a permanant cure will never happen, also try a cream rub called transvasin, a hot heat rub, but i know your pain, and i sypathize, my english friend. the bath then cream is best,

There ya go- I don't know much about sciatica (I remember reading about it in my medical terms book-gotta freshen up on that chapter!) but thanks for the tips sadlad Yes- painkillers soothe any pain, but don't self-medicate, seriously see the doc so they don't complicate things, plus they are incredibly addictive and I can't stress that enough.

There, do I sound queer enough for you, lmao

I love the thread title- almost sounds like it should be the name of a villain from a Harry Potter film....

Thanks sadlad and RancidMind, I was expecting someone to post something like, well you get a rope, you put it around your neck, you stand on a chair and kind of fall off it, the only flaw in that plan is, I have more chance of knitting shit, than being able to get up and stand on a chair. once again thanks.
