The first thing we riders learn when getting our license is to act like we are invisible to everyone and ride defensively. There is nothing any instructor can do to stop a stupid speed junkie from becoming road mince. The majority of us bikers however are very safe, defensive riders who value our lives. Can't say the same about the idiots in 2 tonns of metal who overtake or pull out without indicating, causing a biker to die.
