A friend of mine is a claimed buddist.I am gonna ask her if she want her body done this way......I would happily do the chopping up part.hehe

Lmao this has nothing to do with Buddhism hahaha. This is an ancient nomadic practice because Tibetans were herders not farmers they did not utilize land to bury the dead. Tibetans followed a warrior culture just like the Mongols did.

Unfortunately (for the vultures, anyway) very few people are opting for the 'sky burial' these days. It's greener and cheaper than the traditional western funeral, certainly..... and endorsed by vultures and buzzards everywhere. :) |
