Another Teen Bails Out
Family problems this time. Girl's asphyxiated body was discovered by her grandmother, with whom she lived. She'd hung herself with a 'bright and colorful rope', according to the translation. Indeed. The gist of the suicide note is that she was sad because her dad was dead, her mom had abandoned her, and she felt that her sick grandmother shouldn't be burdened with her care and expenses. Grandma had already been raising her for several years and said that she was taking care of the girl's needs fine, but that the girl was depressed. The article intimated that her father had killed himself years earlier. Anyway, no actual images of her hanging, as grandma and the neighbors cut her down before paramedics arrived. ...or she could've maybe just gotten herself a job in order to help ease her "abuelita's" burden of taking care of her? Also,note to self: If I ever hang myself,I'll make sure to wear a diaper since it seems every person who chooses hanging as their ticket outta this world pisses and/or shits themselves.  |

I think OP has a presumption that 'work' was available. IMHO I don't think most want to die, but if she had depression that would identify and clarify the situation. Just saying ... |

If I ever get to the point where my sunshine and lollipops have faded for me and its time to do the string dance, I will eat at a buffet and drink beer till I'm over full then don my wetsuit and go hang out until they cut me down and slab me! Wish I could see the look of the guy that cuts into that wetsuit though, as it will probably make a suicide bomber video tame in comparison! Plus no pissy shit stained pants to embarrass me for eternity!  |
