Another Prison Rebellion in Caruaru
The pictures aren't the best quality as they were taken on a mobile by a prisoner but I thought they were still worth a share. Happened at the Funase in Caruaru. (I think a funase is similar to a juvenile detention centre). From source: Three victims is 14, has two 15, one is 17 and only one of them is greater, at 18. The Deputy Commander of the 4th BPM, Major Adriel, said the workers were fired by the PM Radio Center, to check a rebellion in the unit, and managed to contain the riot, for action participated police officers Gati, Bepi, Rocam, Official Operations and trims the area, but when the military police arrived in the unit found a scene of destruction with a lot of fire, broken doors and were greeted with stones by internal, coming to the place it was found that the socioeducandos the Modulo 01 had put fire in one of the areas of Modulo 02, because they had quarreled. The Fire Department was fired and after putting out the fire, seven bodies were found, entres which six were charred, and one of those without one leg and the other had a head injury. The seventh body was with a sinking in the face and hands chopped off. It was immediately made a magazine in which were found chunchos (knives, craft) and rocks and sticks. To fire victims in the offenders used wooden furniture, mattresses, mineral water bottles and the flames caused much destruction. The IC (Institute of Criminology) was the place with the IML and the civil police, where periciaram the site and made the cadaveric surveys then forwarded the bodies to the morgue of the city. With this massacre rises to 29 killed in August and 193 in the year 2016. So far we have not been informed that the killers have been identified.         |

I would rather be shot dead by the police, then take my chances in one of these prisons. We have seen 100 of these killings in the past 6 months.
