Re: Another Obliterated Victim of Thailand’s Roads
When I was 13 years old, we had a neighbor who's daughter I was in school with. We both rode horses, as we lived in farm country with so many places to ride. One day, she was teasing me because my parents would not allow me to use a saddle. That summer she was killed. We all use and live on gravel roads. One afternoon she was going home on her horse when the horse got spooked from something, nobody know for sure, but the horse zigged and my friend zagged. Her foot was caught in the stirrups and her body dragged for almost 2 miles. Her mother found the horse eating grass in the yard, and her baby girl, with her foot still stuck to the saddle. Her body looked a little like this woman, with the only difference being, most of my friends body was still all together, but she had no skin and her head was caved in and brains be gone. So, when I saw this thread the image of my friend with her foot stuck to a hose just flooded my mind!! Freaky! It was trauma to the 13 year old me! (i got over it ( |
