Another Murder in Compensa
A man who is not yet identified was murdered at dawn on Saturday, 6, in the Compensa neighborhood, West Zone of Manaus. It is yet another execution by gunfire in the same neighborhood, after the record of four murders only on the night of last Thursday, 4, and all linked to drug trafficking and war between criminal factions. The dispute over the dominance of drug outlets in Compensa has always left a trail of blood with several constant deaths in Compensa. The man was walking through an alley when he was intercepted and killed with at least seven shots to the head, chest and back, according to the 8th Cicom police team that attended the incident. With this crime added five murders in less than 72 hours in the Compensa where the factions dispute territories and leaders of mouths of smoke. As for the murder of dawn, the police at the Specialized Homicide and Kidnapping Precinct (DEHS) did not obtain information on who or how many people started this crime. The man murdered this morning was removed from the scene by the IML team and was approximately 20 years old, wearing an orange shirt, white swim trunks and blue and black shorts.      |
