The human body contains ~5 liters of blood. The pool under this lady looks to be at most 1 liter, blood pools often appear larger then they truly are partially due to viscosity (coating nature) and secondarily opacity. Good way to see this is to take a cup (8oz) of concentrated fruit punch and pour that on the floor. This being said, blood makes up only a small fraction of total body water which for a 70kg man is ~40 liters. Pics: 5 Liter Water tank 20 Liter Water tank (you'd need two of these)  ·  · |
