Angry Teen Boy Slashes Girlfriend's Throat
Teen angst and teen love. Plus a machete, of course, it being Brazil and all.  This little chica broke it off with her slightly older boyfriend, largely due to pressure from her father who said that the boy was a bad influence and was preventing her from studying. She had previously been a straight A student and the family had high hopes of her getting into college in a few years. She seemed to agree, in fact. Unfortunately, the father was more right than he may have feared. The boy was a bad apple indeed. Upon hearing her break it off, he whacked her upside the head with a machete as they argued in the street. She fell down, stunned and terrified. While she lay on the ground trying to recover her wits, he whacked her a second time, right across the throat, nearly decapitating her.
