Angelique Clarke-Abrahams Killed by Her Husband, East London, South Africa
At the couple's home in East London, South Africa, Carl Abrahams violently attacked his 25-year-old wife, Angelique Clarke-Abrahams, on August 29, 2019. Found unconscious, she remained in a coma for nearly a week before dying on the morning of Tuesday September 3, 2019. Their young son told the court that he witnessed his father beating her, while Abrahams said she had experienced a seizure. The East London High Court convicted him of her murder in December 2021, and in March 2022 he received an effective prison term of 20 years.  ·  ·  ·  ·  · |
