American Man Found Dead in Hotel Bathtub in Sihanoukville, Cambodia, 2015
On Thursday, December 17, 2015, the body of an American man, 61, was discovered at about half past one in the afternoon inside the bathroom of a hotel bungalow in Sihanoukville, Preah Sihanouk province, Cambodia. His stay had begun six days earlier, on December 11. Provincial police said the cause of death had not been determined. The body was kept in the room pending an examination by forensic and medical officers. No cause of death has been reported since, and the explanations later proposed remain unsupported. Police placed the discovery in the early afternoon, not the early morning. They described the location as the bathroom, although a bathtub was visible. Only one Cambodian outlet identified the man, and its account was then reproduced by two forums. Those reports came from a single chain rather than independent sources, so his name is omitted. |

Looks like he was settling into the bath to read a book, and wound up having a heart attack.
