Re: American Journalist (26) Death by Headshot in South Sudan
Loop1 - It's great having you posting threads again. You have a knack for finding Westerners (I know I post them too, but mine are always from Cambodia!). Still, hope you're back to stay.

Re: American Journalist (26) Death by Headshot in South Sudan
R.I.P a waste,if it wasn't for photo journalists/reporters risking their lives [not just in actual combat],but often by just "being there" and covering various conflicts and civil wars then a lot of us would not be aware of what is happening ,beyond government propoganda and lies. Thanks C.A. for your reportage, courage and condolences to your family, loved ones and friends. R.I.P |

Adrenaline junkie. Died for nothing. “The press is a gang of cruel *******. Journalism is not a profession or a trade. It is a cheap catch-all for fuckoffs and misfits—a false doorway to the backside of life, a filthy piss-ridden little hole nailed off by the building inspector, but just deep enough for a wino to curl up from the sidewalk and masturbate like a chimp in a zoo-cage.” (Hunter S. Thomson, Pulitzer-prize-winning journalist, author of The Rum Diaries and Fear and Loathing in Vegas.) |

That's great to hear. You put effort into your threads + find things that most can't. Keep up the good work!

I am glad they did not kill Walt Whitman during the American Civil War. I take it from the photo, free press is not high on the standard for breathing in the Sudan. |

Yppl, when you are told to stay away from certain areas, on top of that, in a war torn country with human rights violations up the wahzamo, keep your ass with the rest of the group. You’re being told that for a reason. |
