Amali Nugraheni and Antong Haryadi Killed in Batang Crash, September 25, 2019
Amali Nugraheni, 30, and Antong Haryadi, 58, died when their red Daihatsu Sigra struck the rear of a truck on the Batang-Semarang toll road in Central Java, Indonesia, on September 25, 2019. The car was traveling toward Jakarta when it drifted left near Juragan Village in Batang Regency and hit a Hino tronton truck stopped on the hard shoulder while its driver changed a flat tire. Both occupants of the car died at the scene. The truck driver, Pusiri, was not injured. Batang police attributed the crash to drowsy driving. The victims' bodies were taken to Kalisari Regional General Hospital in Batang. |

You drive a Chinesium deathtrap, don't be surprised when it squishes you into an accordian during a minor accident like this one. Chinese cars are like everything else they manufacture. It may look like a Western car, it may even drive like a Western car the first year you own it, but it's not a Western car. |

Indo's drive on the left, like UK etc. The road looks like a dual carriageway, and has a central barrier. For that impact, the car driver would have had to cross into the path of opposing traffic. And more so, and given the impact zone, would have struck the near side (passenger side) of the truck. Just how asleep was the driver?
