Alligator Rips Off Snorkeler's Arm at Lake Moultrie, South Carolina (2007)
The victim was Bill Hedden of Summerville, South Carolina, who was snorkeling in Lake Moultrie near Moncks Corner on September 16, 2007, when an alligator nearly 12 feet long tore off his right arm at the shoulder. He made his way to a nearby picnic area, where five nurses who happened to be present kept him alive until paramedics arrived. Wildlife officers shot the alligator and recovered the arm from its stomach, but doctors decided it could not be reattached. Despite the caption that circulated with these photos, the incident did not involve a golf ball or a water hazard; he was snorkeling in the lake when the alligator attacked. |

Poor animal - died because some dipshit likes to play golf and is too stupid to understand who really owns the water. |
