Alleged Zetas Dismembered and Dumped at Roadside Chapel, Tamaulipas, 2010
In April 2010, photographs emerged of decapitated, dismembered bodies left next to a roadside chapel in Tamaulipas, Mexico. Most had a Z cut into their flesh. The victims were described as suspected Los Zetas members abducted from the border municipalities of Camargo and Miguel Aleman in the Frontera Chica area along the Rio Grande. A note placed on a glass door mocked 'those who look after' the rival group. Readers interpreted the deaths as the work of the Gulf Cartel in its 2010 conflict with its former enforcers, although this was never confirmed. The photographs were anonymously submitted to a border-crime blog, and no official statement, identification of the victims or body count was ever released. |

Re: Alleged Zetas Dismembered and Dumped at Roadside Chapel, Tamaulipas, 2010
They were alleged Zetas kidnapped in Camargo and Miguel Aleman, in 2010 if memory serves. Strange place where to leave the bodies though, as about the 80% in Mexico belong to Catholic Church, it's a chapel and that statue statue represents Jesus Christ. Or some dude who looks like him (i have no idea as i have never seen him in person). |

Does anyone know what side has the upper hand in this war? It seems to me that, after tens of thousands dead, nothing has changed.
