Alexsandra Souza, 21, Shot Three Times in Caruaru, Brazil 2016
In late July 2016, Alexsandra Jessica Souza, 21, was killed after being shot three times in the head with a .38 revolver on Rua Carlos Chaves, in Caruaru's Santa Rosa district, Pernambuco, Brazil. Police found no indication that she had resisted, suggesting that she knew or trusted the shooter. She worked as a prostitute, and the homicide division attributed her being on the street to purchasing drugs. Her death was reported as the 18th homicide in the city that month.  ·  ·  ·  ·  · |
