Thats a .50 caliber round. BMG.....cant say about that, except the standard brand of 50 cal is the Barrett, so it might be Barrett something. And you need around $7000 to buy one, they aint cheap. .50 cal is the round WWII airplanes used, its capable of piercing light armor.

 .50 Browning Machine Gun round on the left. Compared to .22lr on far right, and 5.56 (standard U.S. issue) 2nd from right. I have a feeling this guy was already dead and they shot his corpse at a fairly close range to demonstrate the potential of this round.
