Actually, Mohammad wanted his followers to appear "different" from infidel Christians and Jews, so he directed them to grow their beards while trimming closely their mustache. It's considered bad juju for a Muslim to be close-shaven. (Unless they are infiltrating the "infidels...) So that was a big ol' "F-U" to the guy being decapitated.

My favorite part of all these ISIS videos is their uniforms. All extremely clean, as if just purchased for the video. Kind of odd to say the least. Not a blemish to be seen. I HIGHLY doubt any "terrorist" group would go through all that trouble to make these videos.
