Found on Facebook; wanted to save and upload them before the post gets nuked. Remember to wear your seatbelt and not text and drive! ;)

Re: Accident on Way 8
Once again, reading in the paper about someone being killed in a car accident today w/ the tagline of "seatbelts not in use at time." So sad. I don't understand the fascination of not wanting to buckle up. For me, it's a habit I don't think twice of. One simple "click" and I'm off to points unknown.

Re: Accident on Way 8
Seems to be a 'freedom' thing in the States. Something to do with people feeling disenfranchised when safety measures are mandatory |

Re: Accident on Way 8
Wet roads-slow down. Good advice to buckle up. It still may not save someone's life in a crash though. I'll wear mine anyways.

Re: Accident on Way 8
Wonder if it's this: Beltway 8 near Wallisville Rd, Texas. A pickup sideswiped another pickup, sending the second truck into a concrete median wall. The passenger of the second pickup was thrown from the vehicle, deputies said. Both the driver and passenger of the second pickup were killed in the crash. The cause of the crash is under investigation. |
