Heartbreaking, what a beautiful family destroyed. Wish I knew more about what happened. Poor boys- hope they are treated well.

Wonder if those boys will wear their seat belts from now on?

Two young boys lost their parents and youngest sister in a blink of an eye after the car they were travelling in smashed through a road divider and crashed into a ditch along the North-South Expressway.

Police said that the incident occurred northbound of the expressway from Johor Baru towards Kuala Lumpur at around 6.30pm on Monday.

“The Nissan Sentra they were travelling in was believed to have spun several times before crashing into the drain.

The victims are believed to have been thrown out from the vehicle due to the impact,” he said in a statement here on Monday.

The couple and their youngest daughter died on the spot while their two boys aged five and four-years-old suffered severe injuries.

He said the deceased were S, 34, his wife M, 32 and their two-year-old daughter S.

"The two brothers who suffered severe injuries on their heads and bodies are S, 5, and S, 4," he said, adding that the boys have been sent to Batu Pahat hospital for further treatment.

Police said the case was being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act for reckless driving.

Probably speeding and not wearing seatbelts.
