Yeah.... There's the professional/more uniformly humane handling of detainees (which we have to admit must've also been happening, elsewhere(s)), and then there's this. I've always held that the less overall maturity there is in any given group, the more likely that things will somehow manage to devolve into truth-or-dare. Against each other or, here, someone(s) seen as other and who it's already ok to abuse a bit in pursuit of the presumably justifiable intelligence aims at hand. So, this shouldn't be surprising: just humans being humans to other humans.
