Re: Abu Ghraib Abuse Photos
I can't believe unskeptical people seem to be about these photos. When they first appeared with the girl soldier with her thumbs up I knew there had to be more to the story and there is. I'm not saying that this didn't happen, but that it was not just a day in the life over there, but orchestrated by top officials to use in psyops. Do I know why? No. Is it so they could have enough evidence to close Guantanimo? Probably. Was is to further enrage the middle east and demoralize the US? Probably.

Re: Abu Ghraib Abuse Photos
i wonder this as well, and like you i am able to believe our soldiers and other agencies could very well, or are likely to be involved in torture. i'm not saying it's right mind you, torture is wrong. (i'm going to disagree however that forcing someone to wear underwear on their head is torture, sorry, it's just not). but what was really happening? why were these allowed to be spread around when a soldier's internet access and email content and website browsing is so carefully scruitinized and censored. i have had and still have friends over there, things constantly come to me censored. |
