we all have innate basic human rights. i believe this.
but human rights are fucking unheard of in that culture. women can't even go out in public without a male escort.
they were more upset that they were humiliated under the supervision of *gasp* WOMEN, than anything.

these same people hardly know what proper hygiene is, and live in a culture where people can be bludgeoned to death or publicly executed for petty crimes.
