I don't think he'd be embarrassed. At that age, guys really don't give a fuck what anyone thinks of them. And as others have pointed out, most old people would prefer an earlier death at home than protracted misery in a nursing home. Vital old people don't want to be around decrepit old people! |

You must not live in America, bc it’s extremely normal for ppl to work until they die here. Most grocery stores have ppl in their 80s working there. In America most jobs offer no retirement, and when the economy crashes you can lose all your 401k, and considering social security tops out at $1200 monthly and some medicine here costs $1500, and rent for a one bedroom apartment is now $2000…most ppl have to work until they die. That’s America. Land of the free! Free to suffer.
